Chimerit.
Chimerit is a term similar to "singlet" or "plural", but for those who technically fall under the definition of "plural" because they are multiple people sharing one body, but feel like they are not plural for one reason or another. The word comes from the Greek monster "Chimera", which was three entirely different animals (a goat, a lion, and a snake) shoved together.
Chimerit terms
Chimerive - A group that is collectively a chimeritChimet - A single individual in a chimerive
Reasons why
Reasons why someone may choose to label their group a chimerive instead of a system:
(None of these mean that the person can't label themself as a system/collective/etc, even if a system fits all of these things they're still a system if they say they are)- Chimets are very distinct and have their own wants/needs, personalities, opinions, goals, beliefs, etc and feel very defined as separate people in a way that most people don't associate with systems (such as one chimet being a different agab than the body and not identifying with the body's agab at all, despite it "scientifically impossible" for them to be a different agab than the body, and feeling uncomfortable and/or disgusted at being treated like an agab that they specifically aren't)
- Chimets coming from different universes/realities and therefore not being "formed" or "split" at all
- Being unable to do things that systems are known for doing, such as being able to change the headspace at will or know each other's thoughts/emotions or be able to change form, or having "realistic" things in their innerworld like weather or day/night cycles or "NPCs" having their own intricate lives
- Chimets being able to age, get injured, die, get innerworld jobs, etc (some of these may not apply, obviously people can still be gods/deities/spirits/ghosts/other supernatural things etc etc if it's possible in their innerworld, innerworlds absolutely don't have to be 1:1 with reality)
- Chimets simply feeling entirely separate beyond just being a "split consciousness/personality/personhood"
- Chimets having internal relations beyond what's expected of systems, for example some people beings siblings or dating or being married or having children
- Not feeling like an organized "system"/"collective" made up of individual parts/people who all have different jobs
- Chimets having systems of their own that are entirely separate from their chimerive that they're uncomfortable labelling as "subsystems" or "sidesystems"
- Just feeling uncomfortable with being referred to as a "system (of parts)" or a "collective"
- Or any other reason.
